My name is Erica Belcher, from Jacksonville, NC. I grew up on the Marine Corps base, Camp Lejeune & for as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with anything equine. Since the first day I walked past the base stables to Kindergarten, I knew horses would be forever in my life. On the way home from school I would sit and watch the horses at pasture for hours, just studying them,
until my mother came looking for me. I have been blessed with an artistic ability that my father passed down to me and it was not long after, that I started to put these majestic creatures to paper. After years of drawing and perfecting the horses anatomy on paper, I thought I wanted to be an artist. I aced every art class I have ever taken never bringing less than a 100% home. I have now realized I can take this passion and love that I have for horses to a new level and recently decided to pursue a career in Equine Photography, this has been an amazing experience for me. I have captured many of great photos and a new way to express my art. I am now offering my services to all equine enthusiasts who have the same passion for horses and riding as I do. I hope you enjoy my work. Thank you.
